At Hot Air Balloons Operation and Maintenance LLC, safety is our top priority. We take every precaution to ensure that our hot air balloon tours are safe and enjoyable for all passengers and crew members. Here are some of the safety measures we take:

 

Pilot and Crew Training 

All of our pilots and crew members are trained and certified to operate hot air balloons. They receive regular training to maintain their certifications and stay up-to-date on the latest safety standards and procedures.

Equipment Inspections 

As an approved balloon maintenance organization by the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), we inspect our hot air balloons and equipment before each flight to ensure that everything is in proper working order. We also conduct regular maintenance and repairs to keep our equipment in good condition. 

 

Weather Monitoring 

We closely monitor weather conditions before and during each flight to ensure that it is safe to fly. If weather conditions are unfavorable, we may delay or cancel flights to ensure the safety of our passengers and crew members.

 

Safety Briefing 

Before each flight, our passengers receive a safety briefing that includes information on how to board and disembark the hot air balloon, what to expect during the flight, and what to do in the event of an emergency. We also provide safety equipment, such as safety belts, first aid kits and fire extinguishers, on board the hot air balloon.

 

Passenger Safety 

We take every precaution to ensure that our passengers are safe during the flight. Passengers must wear appropriate clothing and footwear, avoid loose items that could become entangled in the balloon’s equipment, and follow the instructions of the pilot and crew members at all times.

 

Emergency Procedures 

In the event of an emergency, our pilots and crew members are trained to handle the situation and provide instructions to passengers. We have emergency communication devices and first aid kits on board the hot air balloon to handle emergencies.

 

No Smoking or Alcohol 

Smoking and the consumption of alcohol or drugs are strictly prohibited before and during the flight. This is for the safety of our passengers and crew members.
